Eugene, Apr 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Activist and well known author Jack Herer passed away on Thursday, in his family residence at Eugene.
He had been suffering from complications that had turned severe after he suffered a major heart attack in September last year.
| This year in March, he had shifted to Eugene with his wife, who expressed her deep sorrow at her loss, saying that she found it hard to digest the fact that he is no more.
Jack Herer was 70 years old at the time of his death. He leaves behind his wife, Jeannie Herer and their six children. Jack also leaves behind a brother and a sister. |
| Jack Herer has been suffering from some serious health complications from a pretty long time. He had suffered from a massive heart attack recently, in September 2009, and had to be admitted to the hospital. He survived, but was left with major complications, to which he ultimately succumbed. |
